The operating system for money

Granullo controls how money is allowed to be used. Set rules, enforce conditions, check eligibility, and authorize usage — before anything moves.

Stage 01

Set Rules

Define where money can go, who can use it, what categories are allowed, and what limits apply. Rules are bound at creation — they cannot drift or be silently changed.

Stage 02

Enforce Conditions

Attach conditions that must be true before money can move. Milestones, approvals, documentation, geographic constraints — all enforced automatically at the moment of use.

Stage 03

Check Eligibility

Before any transaction is authorized, the system checks every rule, condition, limit, and timeline. If anything is unmet, the transaction is blocked — not flagged, not warned. Blocked.

Stage 04

Allow Use

When every rule is satisfied, every condition is met, and every limit is respected — the system authorizes the use of money. Not before. Settlement is always external.

System in action

How the system controls money for an employee benefits program.

Set Rules

Benefits restricted to approved categories: pharmacy, fitness, mental health. Monthly cap: $2,000 per employee.

Enforce Conditions

Eligibility re-verified each pay cycle. Employment status and policy compliance confirmed.

Check Eligibility

System checks: merchant is approved, amount within limits, employee is eligible, benefit category matches.

Allow Use

All conditions met — transaction authorized. Employee uses benefits at approved pharmacy.

Granullo controls how money is allowed to be used. Settlement happens externally.

Program states

Every program exists in one of these states. The state determines whether money can move.

BLOCKED

One or more conditions are unmet. Money cannot move.

PARTIAL

Some conditions met, others pending. Money is held.

ELIGIBLE

All conditions satisfied. Money is authorized to move.

EXPIRED

Timeline passed. Unused funds follow expiry rules.

REFUNDED

Unused funds returned to issuer per program rules.
